Radiance carpet cushion is engineered for use in a properly designed radiant floor heating and cooling system with adequate insulation on the bottom side of the concrete slab or subfloor.

Radiance offers a firm yet elegant walk as well as maximum support for any carpet. Most importantly Radiance has an R-value of 1 and a typical carpet has an R-value of slightly more than 1 making the total R-value of the floorcovering system slightly more than 2. Radiant panel industry guidelines call for a floorcovering R-value no greater than 4.
